With this sweet and delicious way of cooking corn, it’s a great way for anyone looking for a really unique way to prepare their favourite summer vegetable. It’s also good for kids who are picky about eating their vegetables.

Instructions:

Boil water in a large pot, enough to cover 8 corn. Add the milk, sugar, cream, and butter and stir until the sugar dissolves and the butter melts. Place the corn inside the mixture and reduce heat to low for approximately 7-8 minutes. Take the corn out of the pot with tongs and place under aluminum foil until they’re ready to be served.


  • Water, or as needed to cover
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup white sugar, or more to taste
  • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 8 ears corn on the cob, husks and silk removed
