Nothing says summer barbeque more than grilled corn and beer so why not put them together?
With this recipe, the name says it all: it’s corn that’s been soaked in beer. Simple and straight to the point, it’s a great way to impress your friends at your next barbeque with a creative use of your favourite drink.
Instructions:
Lay corn in a flat dish and pour your favourite beer all over until corn is completely covered. If you don’t have a dish, you can also use a large Ziploc bag. Place in the fridge between 6 and 8 hours for corn to be thoroughly marinated. Doing this the night before will ensure your corn gets all the time it needs to get the most flavour. Next, remove the corn from the dish or Ziploc bag and place it on a hot grill. Rotate the corn frequently, about every 5 minutes, until it’s fully cooked.
To cook the corn in a smoker, preheat the smoker to 250 degrees Fahrenheit. Put the corn on racks and then place the racks in the smoker. Turn every 20 minutes as you cook them between 1 and 2 hours. Kernels should be soft and tender.
