What began as a roadside corn stand in the late 1980s has grown to become the premier distributor of produce to food outlets across the continent. Rouge River Farms offers end-to-end service that starts on over 15,000 acres of farmland in Florida, Georgia, Virginia and Ontario and finishes on the shelf of your local grocery store.
We grow, harvest, pack, ship and deliver sweet corn and green beans from facilities across the eastern seaboard, each with the same top-quality standards. For us, this means we can harvest continuously throughout the year. What does it mean for you? No supply problems. No ‘out of stock’ signs. No waiting for the produce your customers want.

Rouge River Farms expanded into green beans in 2014 with the purchase of a Florida packing house. That led to a connection with Magnolia Packing, a brand with a similar reputation for prioritizing quality produce. In 2021, Rouge River Farms acquired Magnolia Packing and has since helped expand operations from loose (bulk) beans to bagged beans.
For us, it’s satisfying to take crops all the way from seed to grocery store. Being there at every step ensures a high-quality product. But it does more than that, too. It demonstrates the values we hold. Support. Family. Community. Talk to our farmers, our packing crew, our truck drivers or our company leaders and you’ll hear the same thing. We love producing quality food.

Safety is an integral part of our operation. We use GFSI Benchmarked audit companies to ensure all standards are met or exceeded. Also, we work hard to guarantee every product can be accurately tracked. Our manufacturing process follows strict standards for traceability, risk and crisis management.

We believe that the most sustainable system of farming is a hybrid approach where conventional technology is combined with core principles of organic farming. We embrace principles of crop rotation, the use of cover crops and the practice of composting.
